Unemployment is good so that the new unemployed can be retrained and improved, yet they should not benefit from a safety net - they're on their own. Brilliant! I presume that they have to go into debt bondage to survive and pay for the training. Yes, you are the equivalent of "scum that straps bombs"; in fact, you're worse.

The Japan example with 250% debt to GDP ratio is one where they are fighting deflation. So much for depleting the value of savings. When aggregate demand is in the toilet, deflation is the risk. Any expansion of the money supply offsets this. Many Americans are in debt - with deflation, the debt burden becomes heavier and heavier - they are negative savers, and that of course must be much more burdensome.

Neoliberal economists are more damaging than Al-Qa'eda.

Hmm, so if I believe that intentionally depleting the value of one's savings through either asset or price inflation is immoral, I become a terrorist?

If I think that the decades old, bipartisan policy of transferring wealth from the poor to the rich via this inflation is wrong for a society that claims "equal opportunity for all," I am a terrorist?

And if I think periodic unemployment is a net benefit for a dynamic economy - and that workers cognizant of that will be more inclined to diversify their knowledge and skill-sets, knowing that should their industry become obsolete, the safety net is minimal. This makes me akin to the scum that strap bombs to their chest to kill women and children?

I make a point of populating my reading list with those who have very different ideological persuasions. So long as they are able explain themselves coherently and respectfully.

You, sir, are no longer on that list. I've read the last of what you have to write.
