		<description>I think we need to be careful not to read too much into savings numbers.  Like all aggregate calculations, not enough care is taken to discriminate between the various groups that make up the statistics.  

Who is saving, who isn&#039;t?  And what are the consumption characteristics of the various groups?  

Surely, the consumption of high net-worth individuals will be affected differently than will consumption by low income earners.  </description>
