9/11: A moment of silence, please

Today is September 11th. This date should always be remembered as many lives were lost in senseless and malicious acts of violence against innocent civilians.

My personal life was shattered by the events of 9/11 so this date will always have significance for me as long as I live.

I lived and worked on Manhattan’s West Side at the time and witnessed things that I never want to witness again. With that, I feel I have said enough.

Please, out of respect for those who lost their lives on that day, take a moment of silence and honor their memory.

Thank you.
