This morning Claude Resources, announced a significant increase in gold production and sales, and I read a good summary and analysis of this announcement at http://www.goldalert.com/gold_price_blog.php, where it also discusses how the CEO is looking to improve the company's image due to the company's good mining locations. I think Claude, along with many other gold miners who offer leverage to the gold price, should continue to outperform other assets classes as a result of the government's insistence on trying to prevent deflation at all costs. The dollar is close to new 52 week lows, and the willingness of our govt to damage our currency through money printing should keep benefiting gold, in my opinion.
