Additional regulations will not solve the asleep-at-the-switch problem. That said, regulations are uneven across different sectors of finance. That's probably why the number of hedge funds ballooned to over 8,000. It makes sense to review what is in place for fairness. I am curious whether any news source has estimated the size of the Madoff clawback reference in the video. Terrific post, especially the video.
