It is not a blanket deposit guarantee only a partial guarantee.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;But, yes, the government response doesn&#039;t seem to be fostering faith.  Question:  how much do ordinary Germans trust the southern Europeans to not &#039;pull down&#039; the German economy?&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Is there more anger about getting rid of the Deutsche Mark now that this crisis has arrived in Germany?&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Edward</description>
