This amounts to approximatly 568 Billion Euros.<br/><br/>A complete guarantee like the Irish would have amounted to 7 Trillion Euros.<br/><br/>This will prevent a bank run, but it won't solve the underlying problem that noone gives the banks any money anymore ... only “private savings accounts” are insured.
