A map I caught at Time Magazine shows that the Clinton-Obama divide has much less to do with ‘white working class people’ and MUCH more to do with regional preferences. If you look at this map, what you see is that the margin of Obama victory is greatest in Democratic leaning areas and the margin is greatest for Clinton victories in Republican-leaning states.

The whole argument about working-class voters is a sham. That’s why the working class in Oregon and Wisconsin went for Obama and those in Ohio and West Virginia went for Clinton.

That’s something to remember for the general election.
